What to Bring on Excursions
In order for the children to get the best out of our excursion days it is important that they have appropriate clothing and relevant items. PLEASE LABEL ALL ITEMS!

A bag that gets left in a central spot- kids don't have to carry all day.

Non-Water based activities: In a SMALL backpack your child can carry::
- Morning tea, Lunch & afternoon tea: packed in light, small packaging eg. sandwiches wrapped in wax wrappers (no bulky square tuppers or heavy glass)
- Light water bottle eg. metal (not big heavy glass)
- Raincoat if forecast is rain,
- Jumper if forecast colder
- Sun Hat (even on colder days)
- Opal Card (if public transport being used)

- Larger snacks for end of the day eg. popcorn that are too bulky to carry
- Full change of clothes including underwear, top, bottoms, jumper, socks, shoes
- Thin Towel
- Swim kit and reef shoes if they aren't already wearing them for a swimming adventure day
- Plastic bag for wet gear to come home

Backpack & FoodYour child should be able to carry their own backpack with all their belongings in it. It is important that their hands are free when walking as we may do some challenging tracks. Please ensure they have:

SwimwearWhen we are AROUND water the children MUST have suitable clothes and reef shoes to protect their feet. This is important EVEN IF YOUR CHILD IS NOT SWIMMING as they will be playing around water and will usually get wet. Please have swimwear under clothes on arrival.

.Lost Items
We do our best to match up lost items but there are often a lot of unclaimed things at the end of an excursion.
We will leave any unclaimed items at school lost property for a week, after which time they will be donated to charity if we do not hear otherwise.
